About me

My journey into complementary health began in 2010, when I started studying Naturopathy at Endeavour College. A few years later, while navigating my own fertility challenges, I turned to acupuncture for support. That experience opened a deep curiosity and connection with Chinese medicine, eventually leading me to complete postgraduate studies in Acupuncture. I was drawn to the way this philosophy honours the interconnectedness of health, nature, and the human spirit.

Throughout my studies, I had the privilege of learning alongside, and being mentored by two highly experienced acupuncturists whose wisdom continues to shape the way I practice today. Their guidance helped me deepen my knowledge, refine my skills, inspire my love for moxa, and cultivate a patient-centred approach grounded in curiosity, compassion, and care. Because I personally responded so well to gentle acupuncture, I went on to train in Toyohari, a Japanese style of acupuncture inspired by classical Chinese medicine. Toyohari focuses on balancing the body’s energy flow through meridian therapy, using subtle, intuitive techniques. It includes the use of non-insertive needles and specialised tools, making it especially supportive for children and those who are sensitive. This approach complements the calm and nurturing experience I aim to create in the clinic.

At the heart of my practice is the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine and its focus on balance and harmony. I weave together acupuncture, moxibustion, herbal medicine, nutrition, and evidence-informed care to create treatments that support the whole person. In clinic, I often work with women experiencing stress and anxiety, sleep issues, digestive complaints, hormonal imbalances, menstrual concerns, preconception care and fertility as well as children’s health. My intention is always to offer a warm, supportive space where you feel heard, cared for, and empowered on your path to wellness.

Outside of the clinic, I’m a mum to my beautiful daughter and find joy in the simple, grounding rhythms of daily life - a slow cup of tea with breakfast, walks with our staffy, cuddles with our chickens, baking sourdough on the weekends, wandering through local markets, eating delicious food and soaking up time in nature.

Get in touch, i'd love to hear from you
